But we have a problem - we have created very high standards for each and every research project we conduct. Each requires a lot of detail work, and as we continue to grow our client base, we need help to provide a consistent standard of accuracy and quality.

We need a passionate and ambitious Marketing Research Business Manager to play a strategic role with owners while supporting and growing the business. Someone who can keep the team on track in a fast-paced environment, manage projects front to end, work with a creative owner, and lead our contractors and vendors through the variety of activities needed for each customized project. A wheel hub who is self-disciplined and can work at a faster pace than average, isn’t afraid to make decisions, and can also build and maintain great relationships with our beloved clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of customized quantitative and qualitative research studies that focus on various industries including CPG, Restaurant, Energy, and others in the following capacities:
Client Management
· Manages multiple clients and their respective projects simultaneously from beginning to end of the project lifecycle.
· Acts as a trusted advisor to build current client relationships across multiple industries.
Consulting
· Collaborates with senior leaders on strategic business initiatives (new products/solutions, sales strategy, client advancement, etc.).
· Acts as a trusted advisor to build current client relationships across multiple industries.
· Leads the development of strong and captivating proposals; recommending the most appropriate methodology and research design.
· Creates ‘storytelling’ techniques to develop full analytical reports, drawing strategic conclusions and building actionable recommendations to support client business objectives.
o And manage contractors to pull reports together efficiently
· Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides
Team Management
· Oversees the design and fielding of complex custom surveys, qualitative screeners, etc. with junior members to ensure the highest quality output.
· Manages and mentors junior staff on various quantitative and qualitative research projects.
· Owns quality of all research deliverables to clients and vendors
· Works closely with vendors ensuring the successful execution of qual and quant fieldwork.
· Manage project budgets
The ideal candidate will have:
· 7-10 years of marketing research experience, with at least 5 years experience working on the supplier side
· Exceptional business development skills and proven ability to maintain and grow client relationships
· Post-secondary or post-graduate degree, preferably in marketing, statistics, business or behavioral sciences desired
· Thorough understanding of quantitative and qualitative research principles and methodologies
· Strong leadership skills and decision-making capabilities
· Experience with statistical software packages such as SPSS or SAS desired
· Ability to travel occasionally
